New Year, New You: Intentional Goal Setting Workshop

at Yoga and Massage, Hendersonville, NC

Friday, January 12 | 6 – 8:30 P.M. | $25

In our practice, we often set intentions, which guide our energy and actions while we’re on the mat. Off the mat, we sometimes need a little more structure and preparation to stay focused on those intentions — and turn them into reality.

Join Stepfanie Romine, RYT-500 and a certified health coach, for a workshop that will help you take inventory of your life and turn your intentions into concrete goals. Whether you want to find work-life balance, focus on your health or establish a regular yoga practice, the principles remain the same. Take stock of where you are and where you want to be — then make a plan to get there.

Stepfanie combines her health coach training, which is rooted in proven behavioral science techniques, with her knowledge of yoga and mindfulness to create a unique approach to goal setting.

In this session, Stepfanie will help you:

  • Determine how ready you are to commit to change
  • Bolster your commitment or discover goals, desires and ambitions that will work in your life right now
  • Identify and remove the obstacles that stand between you and your best self
  • Map a plan to get you from where you are to where you want to go
  • Differentiate between habits that will create long-term sustainable change and those that can erode your motivation and momentum

With a decade of experience working with major health and wellness brands, Stepfanie specializes in weight loss, stress management and healthy eating, including meal prep. She’s the co-author of three best-selling wellness titles, including “The No Meat Athlete Cookbook,” chosen by Sports Illustrated as a top health and wellness pick of 2017, and “The Spark Solution,” a two-week program to fast-track weight loss and total body health that has been on the U.S. News and World Report’s “best diets” list since 2014. She has taught yoga since 2009 and is certified in health coaching through the American Council on Exercise, the only such NCCA-accredited certification.

This workshop is for you if:

  • You set resolutions but lose steam and abandon them.
  • You feel ready and eager to change but are not sure where to start.
  • You make lists and tend not to finish them.
  • You struggle to find time to care for yourself, though it matters to you.
  • You want to commit to your health and well-being this year.

*No yoga experience necessary.

Weight Loss That Works

We treat weight loss like any other habit, but for most of us, the extra pounds are not because we lack the knowledge of how to change our diet and exercise routines.

The weight is in our heads, but it’s not intellectual — it’s emotional.

We have to start by learning to like ourselves, love ourselves, deem ourselves worthy of a new body and new life.

If you’re struggling with self-worth and negative self-talk, consider taking a more mindful and compassionate approach to wellness, including weight loss.

Remove the quantifiable or so-called “smart” goals, and replace them with affirmations that you are on track, that you’re treating yourself as you deserve to be treated.

It starts now.

You’re not in this alone.

Let me help you experience better health and happiness with:

  • Sensible, sustainable weight-loss plans
  • Custom fitness programs for all levels
  • Stress-relief and work-life balance strategies
  • Personal chef services & meal prep
  • Behavioral modification & goal-setting techniques, rooted in mindfulness and compassion

I assist clients with weight management, help them develop fitness plans and provide lifestyle coaching. My approach is one of compassion and mindfulness, tailored to suit your specific needs. We set you up to succeed, and we start by removing the all-or-nothing numbers game.

I think of myself as a health concierge — I do whatever it takes to remove the obstacles that stand between you and better health. (Think of me as your healthy living Ganesha.) Whether it’s time, money or knowledge that’s standing in your way, I can help.

And I’ve been where you are — I lost more than 45 pounds back in 2005, and I’ve kept off the weight since then.

I provide individual sessions via Skype/Google+ and face-to-face meetings to help clients cope with weight management, behavior modification and fitness-related motivation issues.

I have my health coach certification through the American Council on Exercise (ACE), the only NCCA-accredited health coaching program, and I’m a Registered Yoga Teacher (Yoga Alliance) with nearly 1,000 hours and seven years of teaching experience. I’ve been working with major healthy living brands since 2008, and I’ve written and edited several books on wellness and weight loss.

I also have completed continuing education in Alternative & Integrative Nutrition and Herbal Supplements, and I’m studying to be a Fitness Nutrition Specialist through ACE.

Together, we will work to remove the obstacles that stand between you and a healthier, happier life.
